Purus Active Health - Osteopathy London, Covent Garden Osteopath, Osteopaths Covent Garden WC2

PURUS | Who Are We?

Purus Active Health was founded by Andrew Colley and Jonathan Teyletche who recognised parallels between their treatment styles and practicing goals.

This, combined with the lack of an efficient and structured rehabilitation centre in the West End, prompted the three partners to build a team that would enhance their individual treatment approaches leading to a more complete rehabilitation for their patients.

Their mission is to offer a comprehensive and professional, health care service delivered to a high standard which is both industry leading and good value.

This ethos, we are proud to say, has had a positive impact in the way we treat and the success we are experiencing today with our patients and clients.

Andrew Colley (Director) | Sports Therapist/Personal Trainer & Active Rehab Specialist

Qualifying over 10 years ago Andrew has worked with many individuals from many different backgrounds.

As the former head of Sports Therapy at West Ham United FC and Footballer, Andrew could see the parallels between good results and simple support. Professional athletes would find it difficult to achieve the performance they aspire to without the dedication and motivation of a coaching team. Andrew believes that this approach is easily transferable to anyone at any level using simple rules, Motivation, Education, Focus and Support.

Keeping to these basic rules has led to the development a training team that would understand how to give that little extra and push their clientís way beyond their expectations.

Jenny Vosper

Pilates Teacher

New Zealand-born Jenny specialized in her early career as a state registered nurse. After years of strenuous work, working on the wards and following a fall from a horse, her back started to give her problems, interrupting her quality of life. Jenny searched for a better way to control her back pain. This led her to discover Pilates.

After the first session she knew this was the career she wanted to discover and learn. Trained by Peaks Pilates, an American based teaching company qualified her to be registered with the PMA (pilates method alliance) an international organisation dedicated to preserving the legacy of Joseph Hubertus Pilates. The PMA maintains the highest standard for education and information.

Jenny says: ìPilates has literally changed my life at all levels. I move with ease, feel limber, have clarity of mind, an abundance of energy, feel calm and have an enthusiasm about things not felt since childhood. Feeling like this enthuses me to share this with others, hence becoming an instructor. To see someone gain positive results from a system that you know will help is extremely satisfying. The smile on a clients face at the end of a session says it allî
