Our Osteopaths are some of the most experienced in London and specialise in treating a variety of injuries. They work with a number of elite sports people including Olympic athletes, golfers and footballers and also specialise in treating postural issues suffered by desk workers. They also work closely with many orthopeadic consultants across London if referrals are needed.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a deeper, more intense type of massage based on the various elements of Swedish massage. Our therapists at Purus Active Health bring together a combination of techniques, knowledge and advice during a treatment.

Anyone can benefit from Sports / Deep Tissue Massage, which is a deeper, more intense type of treatment based on elements of Swedish massage. Regular treatment can help with management of pain and tension associated with occupation and lifestyle. For sports people it helps improve endurance, prevent injuries and enhance performance.

Donal Moran

Excellent service and attention to individual needs and requirements from the team at Purus, Mark Hokan in particular. Very knowledgeable and has helped me stay injury free and on track during heavy training segments for a number of marathons now. Highly recommended.”

David Woodfield

“I’ve had a few physios over the years & rarely found someone who I think ‘gets’ it. Laura is the exception – she’s been able to pinpoint and explain my injuries eerily well from day 1! I’d go out of my way to be treated by her if needed.”

Valerie Fry

“I can’t say enough about the professionalism and through care both Millie and Julia have given me. They each have asked all of the right questions, with Julia correctly diagnosing where two other Physios and trainers have failed me. They each have also followed up with me between sessions.
I’m very optimistic about my progress under their care. The facility is very nice, as is the woman’s loo. All around great experience!”
